Not for those who STILL can’t put 2 and 2 together. I mean, that last post was the SIMPLEST thing I could POSSIBLY do! YOU GUYS HAD ONE JOB!!!! D:«
For those who don’t know, you can call my last post about the youtube comment the final “Who is LalaLexxi” clue. Thanks for playing and I’m uber proud of you if you figured me out before this point. I told you I don’t look like my adorable OC.
Now you all know that I’m not just sitting on my butt doing nothing if I’m not posting any audios to tumblr for a while. I have another life as a professional voiceover artist (in training) who’s been voicing animations and anime parodies for 10 years now. This summer while I was in LA, I was trained by Richard Horvitz (the voice of Invader Zim) and Tony Oliver from Bang Zoom Entertainment anime studios. I’ve voiced in AT LEAST 100 projects over the years, and by opening this blog and Ask Button’s Mom, I sort of had a break from the goody-two-shoes SFW material and realized that I have some talent on this side of voiceover.
Sorry to everyone for lying about my experience level (saying that I’d never voice acted before the clop game), but as you could imagine I was terrified in the beginning about what would happen to my career if people figured out that I’d been voicing a smexy horse. However, through a year of encouragement from other voice actors, friends, my acting teacher, and even Richard Horvitz, I was convinced that it doesn’t matter what you voice, because all of it is acting. It’s a role, a character, a being that isn’t you. My acting teacher told me this Monday “When you’re standing on that stage, you’re no longer Amber, you’re Sally queen of the biker whores.” Mr. Horvitz told me “Don’t act like a character, BE that character.”
Sooooo. I’m Button’s Mom and LalaLexxi, and if anyone has a problem with it, they can take it up with THOSE characters, and not that bitch Foxy. ;)
As far as you all know, I’m still “Lexxi” (and dont you FUCKING spell it wrong!!) and everything posted on this blog is Lexxi. I still plan to keep both accounts separate to avoid youtube harassment, if that’s cool. (even though I’m expecting some.)
